In Khao Sok National Park, house centipedes are typically found in areas with leaf litter, under rocks, or beneath tree bark. They use these places as hiding spots during the day and emerge at night to hunt. Their diet in the forest primarily consists of insects, spiders, and other small invertebrates found in the rainforest ecosystem.

Although house centipedes are venomous, their venom is not harmful to humans, and they play a vital role in the Khao Sok ecosystem by helping to control populations of insects and other small creatures.

Visitors to Khao Sok National Park might encounter house centipedes while hiking or exploring the natural environment. While these insects may seem intimidating to some, they are generally harmless and are an essential part of the rich biodiversity found in Khao Sok.
